Hi Milan, do you know what happened with depositfiles? The average download time becomes more and more from week to week. It was always 5 to 7 minutes in the regular download modus, then it was half an hour now we have 2 to 5 hours for one album.
ReplyDeleteHi Frank, I have just downloaded the album from this page and apart from time spent with entering codes and closing pop-ups, it took me about 5 minutes.
DeleteProbably you have lots of background applications which connect to the net and do nasty things like bitcoin mining or updating software. Try checking your system and closing unnecessary programs and do a malware scan and removal.
Milan, thank you for the answer. I will try this.But the problem is only with depositfiles. Zippyshare, fichier or mega goes fine.
ReplyDeleteFrank, Depositfiles has a download speed fro free users of about 100-200 Kb/s while Zippy and Mega have around 1000 Kb/s, so the eventual slowing down of download speed is not noticeable.
DeleteThe other possibility is that Depositfiles slows it's download speed for free users occasionally to lure more users into their rip-off Gold membership spider's web.
Now if you ask why I'm not using one of the two free ones, the answer is because Depositfiles checks immediately for copyright protected files and deletes them automatically, so it is also a protection from blog take-down for infringement of copyrights.
