This compacto was recorded in Tanganica during the political asylum which Taiguara enjoyed there for a period of his life, after being censored and prosecuted by ruthless dictatorships in Brazil and Great Britain.
The two songs were recorded in 1974 and 1978 while this compacto was finally released by Continental in 1981.
