RCA Victor BPL 6
I can not resist the temptation to repost this album by Maestro Lindolfo Gaya, one of his first career albums.
The reasons for this are:
1. The link in the other reality has expired while I thought that it is still working but...:
2. I just discoverded that the embedded link in the "Highlights from another reality" menu in this reality leads (by mistake?) to Fats Elpidio's Musica e Penumbra archive on Depositfiles, where you will also land if you click the Fats Elpidio cover on the same menu.
3. This coincidence is actually a result of similar front covers, both featuring the same lady and gentleman in the same place but in different stages of their encounter.
Fats' cover shows them at the moment when the lady arrives and slips out of her coat, while the Gaya cover shows them in the action of drinking and smoking.
4. I hope that someone might point to more photographs of the same photo session, avoiding those made much later in the evening (as they might be of questionable content).
While comparing covers, enjoy:
01. Andalucia (Ernesto Lecuona)
02. Natasha's Valse (Nino Rota / Testoni / Calibi)
03. Helena, Helena (Antônio Almeida / Constantino Silva "Secundino")
04. Morreu Meu Coração (Lindolfo Gaya / José Carlos)
05. On The Street Where You Live (Alan Jay Lerner / Frederick Loewe)
06. Se a Lua Contasse (Custódio Mesquita)
07. É Bello (Danpa / D. Vignoli)
08. Mi Último Fracaso (Alfredo Gil)
09. Dora (Dorival Caymmi)
10. El Dia Que Me Quieras (Carlos Gardel / Alfredo Le Pera)
11. Molambo (Jaime Florence "Meira" / Augusto Mesquita)
12. Despedida de Mangueira (Benedito Lacerda / Aldo Cabral)
