Uccio Gaeta - O Novo Som de Uccio Gaeta (1968)

Chantecler CMG 2500

The first impression when stumbling upon Uccio Gaeta while unpacking the package from Pedro & 300discos was that it is an album by a gaeta player unknown to me whose real first name is Uccio.
Of course, I was proved wrong. Uccio Gaeta is a multiinstrumentalist whose origin, according to his name, I would place somewhere in Italy, probably Sicily where, according to his name, might also be the birthplace of Mario Albanese, as Sicily was largely inhabited by Albanian folks.
Also, Mario Albanese is prominently featured, together with Uccio, as composer on this album.
More about Uccio, together with a list of instruments he played, you may read on the back cover in a tightly packed text by Armando Blundi Bastos.
